McCain says that just because somebody supports you does not mean "you support everything they say." Should McCain really be letting Obama off the hook? Absolutely not. But perhaps McCain is saving the real fight for the general election and hoping that Hillary's people will do the work for him. This is no small deal and McCain, the Clintons, and the media should not let Obama have a pass until he completely cuts off that deranged preacher. Obama was asked about his pastor declaring "God Damn America" and he responded saying, "Here is what happens when you just cherry-pick statements from a guy who had a 40-year career as a pastor. There are times when people say things that are just wrong." Excuse me, Senator, but don't excuse this pastor and try to claim people are cherry-picking. He is on tape giving sermons and making the most incendiary comments. I see no hope in Obama, but I certainly see audaciousness.

McCain is trying to give the benifit of the doubt to a man just to back up critisism put out against him. It seems like on many of these type of thing he trys to act politically correct and act sort of libral. All I can say is I hope it helps him and doesn't hurt him in his campaign.
