Obama "Disappointed" With Pfleger

Obama said this in response to videos of Father Pfleger speaking at his church: “As I have traveled this country, I’ve been impressed not by what divides us, but by all that that unites us. That is why I am deeply disappointed in Father Pfleger’s divisive, backward-looking rhetoric, which doesn’t reflect the country I see or the desire of people across America to come together in common cause." Is it not odd that after decades his spiritual mentors are suddenly disappointing and surprising him with their rhetoric? See one of my older posts from today for the videos of Pfleger speaking at Obama's church. There is absolutely no excuse for Obama associating with men like Jeremiah Wright or Michael Pfleger. There is no reasonable justification for Obama's continued membership in the Trinity Church whose new pastor hosts speakers like Pfleger. Tweet
