The picture above was one of the faith testimonials that was featured on Barack Obama's official website. The testimonial of Father Michael Pfleger has not so surprisingly disappeared from the website. This clip of Pfelger was just posted on YouTube and helps explain this situation:
Here is Pfleger defending Farakhan and Wright:
Obama identified Pfleger in a 2004 interview with the Chicago Sun-Times as a key source of spiritual guidance. Pfleger, who practices black liberation theology, is a regular guest speaker at Obama's Trinity church. He was introduced at Sunday's sermon by Obama's new pastor, Rev. Otis Moss III. Pfleger is a regular guest lecturer at Trinity and has been featured a number of times in Wright's Trumpet magazine, which honored Louis Farrakhan. This is the same magazine that Obama gave an exclusive interview to. Obama has also appeared on the cover on a number of occasions. Obama has said in media interviews he will retain his membership in Trinity under Moss, whom he lauded as a "wonderful young pastor." Sane Americans need to know the kind of people and the kind of church that Obama continues to associate with and has been intimately connected with for 20 years. And for good measure, in case you need videos to reinforce a point, here's one more clip of Pfleger paying tribute to Farakhan:
