Nancy Pelosi Says "The Purpose Of The Surge" Has Not Been Fulfilled

When good news becomes not good enough news, when success becomes not enough of a success. That's essentially what House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is saying when it comes to Iraq and the surge. She, like Barack Obama, finds it very hard to just give the surge credit for the major accomplishments it has achieved because she was against it. Accomplishments like avoiding an all out civil war, minimizing the threat of the Sadr militia, creating immense security gains, reducing Iraqi civilian and American death tolls, and supporting the Anbar awakening.
