Obama cites T. Boone Pickens on energy, but Pickens supports drilling offshore and in ANWR. The fact that Obama would specifically exclude drilling as part of any energy independence initiative can only be explained by the Democrat party being in the pocket of the environmental lobby even when the good of the country is at stake.
