Congratulations to Barack Obama. America has transcended race and this is a historic election in that regard. It is now time for all of America to move beyond the politics of race relations and unite in common as one people. This election should finally put the race-baiters such as Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton out of business.
Conservatism has been put in exile. The decision America made tonight was a poor one. The answer for Republicans cannot be to despair and surrrender America to this onslaught of liberalism, but rather to return to Republican principles and remain steadfastly dedicated to the ideals that have made America the greatest nation on earth. Republicans must remain vigilant. The times ahead will be tough and will require it. Remember, Bill Clinton won in 1992 and only two years later Newt Gingrich and the Republican Revolution swept into Congress. It is time for an underground conservative revolution to begin. There will be no balance to Barack Obama in the Congress. The only balance to Barack Obama and the Democratic Congress will be websites like this one providing you with the truth that will be desperately needed.
This loss for John McCain brings to mind a quote from John Wayne. John Wayne actively supported Ronald Reagan's failed presidential bid in 1976. Nonetheless, the Duke paid a visit to the White House as a guest of President Jimmy Carter for his inauguration. "I'm pleased to be present and accounted for in this capital of freedom to witness history as it happens - to watch a common man accept the uncommon responsibility he won 'fair and square' by stating his case to the American people - not by bloodshed, beheadings, and riots at the palace gates. I know I'm a member of the loyal opposition - accent on the loyal. I'd have it no other way." As a great American and Senator from Arizona once said, "Country First."
