Leftists are in love with the man who threw two shoes at President Bush in Iraq that Bush impressively dodged. What that Iraqi did took no courage. He would never dare throw a shoe at Saddam Hussein or he would no doubt end up dead or in one of the infamous torture chambers. But he feels secure enough in the new Iraq to throw shoes at the visiting American President. Code Pink sat in front of the Iraqi Ambassador to the United States with hand drawn pictures of shoes. The America haters laud the shoe throwing maniac.
The Iranian student in the video above is the protestor that actually deserves to be lauded. He is standing up to the Iranian regime and rightfully declaring how nauseated he is by it. It is with the Iranian student that true courage lies, not with a shoe throwing wackjob. It is a shame that there are some Americans that do not recognize this and who hate America more than America's fanatical and truly evil jihadist enemy.
Iran is a very dangerous threat to American and global security because of their desire to obtain nuclear weapons. Iran is perhaps the most dangerous foreign policy threat that Obama will face in his administration and I hope that he does all in his power to stop the Iranian regime from obtaining nuclear capabilities. The following two recent videos should be enough to demonstrate why this is the case:
1. On November 3rd of this year the Iranian News Channel featured young boys vowing to commit suicide operations. One child declares that "we, the students of the Basij, want to show the people of the world that we are always ready to follow the words of Imam Khomeini, who said: 'If we number 60 million, we must have a 60 million strong army, and 60 million people ready for war.'" Another child says that he commemorates "the martyr Hossein Fahmideh. He was a 13-year-old boy who threw himself under an enemy tank, and was martyred." 2. A TV report on December 3, 2008 blamed the Mumbai attack on the Zionists and the United States. The report stated that "analysts raised doubts about this attack, claiming that a certain group made efforts to conceal the identity of the true culprits" and that "the attacks were intended to hasten the implementation of a scenario, which the Americans had planned for the coming years." It further reported the various "goals that the Zionists tried to achieve by exploiting the Mumbai bombings." To see this video visit http://www.memritv.org/clip/en/1947.htm"
