Minority Leader John Boehnor On Porkulus Bill: "1,100 Pages, Not One Member Of This Body Has Read"

Republican Study Committee Chairman Tom Price also discussed the big-government non-stimulus spending bill. Rep. Price has pointed out that Democrats made the bill available at 11 p.m. on Thursday night and at 9 a.m. Friday morning the House began debate on the bill. If members of Congress actually took the time to read the bill, they would have to read through the night at a rate of 626 words per minute before heading to the House floor.

See Illinois Republican Rep. Aaron Schock below talks about how not one employee of Caterpillar upon his visit with Obama to the Caterpillar plant urged him to vote for the spending bill, but how he has recieved 1,400 phone calls, letters, and e-mails from Caterpillar employees asking him to oppose this unprecedented wasteful spending spree.

Meanwhile, the House passed this $787 billion spendulus bill today, with every Republican standing on principle and voting against.
