U.S. Ambassador To The U.N. Refuses To Say The Iranian Regime Is Illegitimate, Yet Quick To Condemn Honduras

I love how Ms. Rice refers to the situation in Iran as an "internal matter." Does the Obama administration not realize that it is our duty as the leader of the free world to do more to help the spread of liberty? This reminds me of the reaction then-Senator Obama had when the Russians invaded Georgia (the country, not the U.S. state) last August, calling "on all sides to show restraint."
ReplyDeleteWhat I learned then has been reinforced now with Iran: Pres. Obama is a wishy-washy, cowardly liberal. Period.
Also:
The ousted Honduran president does not have a "legitimate" right to be there, as Amb. Rice would have us believe. The military was ordered by the Honduran supreme court to take him out and replace with someone else FROM HIS OWN PARTY. This is NOT a coup; it is the military doing its job. President Obama is just too cowardly to stand up to Chavez, Castro, and the rest of the Organization of American States (an organization, by the way, that I had never heard of before this situation).
I posted a WSJ editorial and video of Charles Krauthammer explaining the Honduras situation and the hypocrisy of Obama. The deputy press secretary was on Fox News and he said that supporting Zelaya was a matter of "American principles" and "democratic values." Yet for some reason, supporting the protestors in Iran against an Islamic fascist regime that rigged an election was not? Obama said he did not want to "meddle" in Iran, yet he freely meddles in the affairs of Honduras without a worry in the world when it means supporting the Chavez-Castro-Ortega gang. It's highly disturbing, to say the least.
