Minority Leader John Boehnor Confuses Declaration Of Independence With Preamble To Constitution

What this proves is that even Republican politicians are unaware of what is actually in the Constitution. This is a display of inexcusable ignorance from the Republican leader who we would expert more from when it comes to the Constitution than some other politicians.

Supreme Court Justice Hugo Black famously said that “the layman’s constitutional view is that what he likes is constitutional and that which he doesn’t like is unconstitutional.” I am afraid that view is also the view of our elected representatives.
