VP Touts Stimulus As Unemployment Reaches 9.8%
The Freedom Project reports that "a week after Vice President Biden said, 'In my wildest dreams, I never thought [the 'stimulus'] would work this well,' we’ve learned that another 263,000 Americans lost their jobs last month and the unemployment rate reached 9.8 percent -- its highest point since 1983. House Republican Leader John Boehner (R-OH) says its time 'for Democrats in Washington to scrap their job-killing agenda.'"

CNN Anchor Is Shocked As Chicago Is First City To Be Eliminated From Olympics: "Chicago Is Out?!"
Obama has been wasting his time working to get the Olympic Games in Chicago, rather than focusing on little things like the situation in Afghanistan. Yet Chicago was the first city to be eliminated. I guess the whole world is not as enamored with Obama as this CNN anchor.

Washington Post: France, Not The United States, Leading Efforts Against Iran
The Washington Post reports that "under President Nicolas Sarkozy, France has adopted an increasingly hard-edged approach to Iran, often out ahead of the Obama administration with uncompromising language criticizing Iranian leaders and warning that their nuclear program threatens world peace. The French attitude reflects Sarkozy's assessment that acquiescing to unsupervised nuclear development by Tehran would be perilous, risking an Israeli attack on Iranian installations and increasing instability in the Middle East. In addition, French analysts said, Sarkozy feels that Europe got nowhere with Iran in several years of what was called 'constructive dialogue' and that it is time to move on to stronger measures in tandem with Washington. As a result, French diplomats at a crucial meeting Thursday in Geneva are likely to push for swift, punitive sanctions unless Iran pledges unequivocally to open its entire nuclear program to international inspection to ensure Tehran is not developing atomic weapons. Jean-Pierre Maulny, a specialist in European defense at the Paris-based Institute for International and Strategic Relations, said Germany and Britain are likely to agree because they also feel the constructive dialogue bore no fruit and, to some extent, have been aligned with Paris. The tough new French approach marks a clear change from the days of Presidents Jacques Chirac and George W. Bush, when France was often a reluctant U.S. ally compared with Britain and Germany. In contrast, Sarkozy in recent weeks has used a sharper tone than have British Prime Minister Gordon Brown and German Chancellor Angela Merkel -- and President Obama -- in denouncing Iran's nuclear program and advocating sanctions to force Tehran to allow inspectors in."
Ladies and gentelman, we have come to the point where France is the nation showing strength in its foreign policy and the U.S. seems like the one willing to wave the white flag of surrender. Things have certainly changed since Obama was elected.

Supreme Court To Decide Case Concerning Chicago Gun Ban
The AP reports that "the Supreme Court agreed Wednesday to decide whether strict local and state gun control laws violate the Second Amendment, ensuring another high-profile battle over the rights of gun owners. The court said it will review a lower court ruling that upheld a handgun ban in Chicago. Gun rights supporters challenged gun laws in Chicago and some suburbs immediately following the high court's decision in June 2008 that struck down a handgun ban in the District of Columbia, a federal enclave. The new case tests whether last year's ruling applies as well to local and state laws." Tweet

Bigwig Hollywood Moguls Are Fighting For Rapist Roman Polanski Not To Be Extradited
Fox News reports on the disturbing story of Hollywood liberals lining up to defend rapist Roman Polanski and trying to stop Polanski from being extradited to the United States. Fox News reports that "Hollywood moguls are pressuring California lawmakers to do what they can to stop the extradition of Roman Polanski, aiming to prevent the Oscar-winning director from being forcibly returned to the U.S. to do time for raping a 13-year-old girl in the 1970s. The only problem — the government isn't interested. Actors and actresses from Harrison Ford to Debra Winger have reportedly joined the growing throng of liberal celebrities calling for Polanski to be released following his arrest in Switzerland last week. Studio kingpin Harvey Weinstein says he is leading the charge and 'e-mailing everybody I know' to push for the swift release of his friend, whom he calls a 'humanist' who has been the victim of a gross 'miscarriage of justice' for more than three decades... Scores of American film icons from Woody Allen to Martin Scorsese have signed a petition demanding 'the immediate release of Roman Polanski,' saying they were 'dismayed' by his arrest. But the Los Angeles County district attorney's office, which is seeking to have Polanski extradited to California, isn't interested in petitions from the stars — it has a job to do, DA spokewoman Jane Robison told FOXNews.com." Empire State Building To Turn Yellow And Red On Anniversary Of Communist China's Birth
The AFP reports that "New York's iconic Empire State Building will light up red and yellow Wednesday in honor of the 60th anniversary of communist China. The Chinese consul, Peng Keyu, and other officials will take part in the lighting ceremony which will bathe the skyscraper in the colors of the People's Republic until Thursday, Empire State Building representatives said in a statement."
This is a disgrace. It mocks the memory of the victims of the Communist regime, the many millions that starved to death as a result of Mao's policies of collectivization, the many who perished in China's "cultural revolution," the many whose lives were taken in Tiananman Square, and the many who continue to face oppression by the Chinese regime. Why is a great American landmark marking the anniversary of the establishment of Red China?

When Richard Goldstone Indicted A Fictional Character (And A Dead Man)
Nissan Ratzlav-Katz writes on IsraelNN.com that "Judge Richard Goldstone, whose recent United Nations Human Rights Council investigation purported to find evidence of Israeli war crimes in Gaza, once indicted a fictional Serbian character and a dead man for war crimes as well. As in Gaza, those indictments were also allegedly based on 'eyewitness testimony.'" To read the full article visit: http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/133631 Tweet

Defense Secretary Robert Gates: "The Iranians Have The Intention Of Having Nuclear Weapons"
"The Iranians have the intention of having nuclear weapons," US Defense Secretary Robert Gates has said. In an interview with ABC to be aired Sunday, Gates added that 'the question of whether they have made a formal decision to move towards the development of nuclear weapons is in doubt.'"
"This is part of a pattern of deception and lies on the part of the Iranians from the very beginning with respect to their nuclear program," he said. "So it's no wonder that world leaders think that they have ulterior motives that they have a plan to go forward with nuclear weapons."
"If this were a peaceful nuclear program, why didn't they announce this site when they began to construct it?" Gates asked. "Why didn't they allow IAEA inspectors in from the very beginning?"
