One of the most important aspects of this interview is when the MSNBC host asks Grassley how an individual mandate could be unconstitutional if the Republican Senator was in favor of such a proposal as an alternative if need be to Hillary Clinton's plan in the early 1990's. His answer needs to be heard across the land when he is asked about the Attorneys Generals challenging the constitutional legality of the individual mandates: "I think they're right...and I think the only difference between 1993 and the year now, if it was unconstitutional today it was unconstitutional in 1993, but I don't think anybody gave it much thought."
