Muslim Cleric Calls For Beheading Of Dutch Politician Geert Wilders
Reuters reports that a "well-known Australian Muslim cleric has called for the beheading of Dutch anti-Islamic politician Geert Wilders, a newspaper said on Friday. Wilders' Freedom Party scored the biggest gains in June 9 polls and is currently negotiating to form a new minority government with the Liberals and Christian Democrats. Polls show Wilders would win a new election if one were called now. Wilders demanded to know why he had learnt about the threat from the newspaper and not from Dutch authorities who are guarding him after a film and remarks he made angered Muslims around the world. De Telegraaf, the Netherlands' largest newspaper, led its front page on Friday with a story on the speech by Feiz Muhammad. The Sydney-born Muhammad has gained notoriety for, among other things, calling on young children to be radicalized and blaming rape victims for their own attacks. The paper posted an English-language audio clip in which he refers to Wilders as 'this Satan, this devil, this politician in Holland' and explains that anyone who talks about Islam like Wilders does should be executed by beheading." Der Spiegel: "America Has Become Too European"
Der Spiegel writes that "the behavior of the American government and the Federal Reserve makes one thing clear: They do not see the solution to the US's economic woes in a return to traditional American virtues. Obama is not calling for the unleashing of market forces, as Ronald Reagan once did during an equally critical period in the early 1980s. On the contrary: Obama, driven by his own convictions and advised by economists who believe in government intervention, has taken a path that leads far away from those things that catapulted America to the top of the world in the past century. The Obama administration's current policies rely on more government rather than personal responsibility and self-determination. They are administering to the patient more, not less, of exactly those things that led to the crisis... The highest commandment of the American worldview was always to maximize individual freedoms and minimize government influence. It was an approach that was highly successful. According to that rule, self-directed action would remain the rule and government intervention the unpopular exception. But that is no longer the case... If the US manages to revert to its former ways, there is potential for hope. If not, the American age will have really come to an end."

CBO: Eight Years Of Iraq War Cost Less Than Stimulus Act
Fox News reports that as "President Obama prepares to tie a bow on U.S. combat operations in Iraq, Congressional Budget Office numbers show that the total cost of the eight-year war was less than the stimulus bill passed by the Democratic-led Congress in 2009. According to CBO numbers in its Budget and Economic Outlook published this month, the cost of Operation Iraqi Freedom was $709 billion for military and related activities, including training of Iraqi forces and diplomatic operations. The projected cost of the stimulus, which passed in February 2009, and is expected to have a shelf life of two years, was $862 billion. The U.S. deficit for fiscal year 2010 is expected to be $1.3 trillion, according to CBO. That compares to a 2007 deficit of $160.7 billion and a 2008 deficit of $458.6 billion, according to data provided by the U.S. Office of Management and Budget. In 2007 and 2008, the deficit as a percentage of gross domestic product was 1.2 percent and 3.2 percent, respectively... The CBO figures show that the most expensive year of the Iraq war was in 2008, the year when the surge proposed by Gen. David Petraeus and approved by President Bush was in full swing and the turning point in the war. The total cost of Iraq operations in 2008 was $140 billion. In 2007, the cost of Iraq operations was $124 billion. According to an analysis by the American Thinker's Randall Hoven, the cost of the Iraq war from 2003-2008 -- when Bush was in office -- was $20 billion less than the cost of education spending and less than a quarter of the cost of Medicare spending during that same period."
"Relative to the size of the economy, this year's deficit is expected to be the second largest shortfall in the past 65 years; 9.1 percent of gross domestic product (GDP), exceeded only by last year's deficit of 9.9 percent of GDP," CBO wrote.

Site Where 4 Israelis Were Shot Dead By Islamist Hamas Terrorists Is Where Obama Demanded Removal Of Security Checkpoints
Aaron Klein at WND reports that the "deadly terror attack that killed four people took place on a road where the Israeli government removed staffed anti-terror checkpoints in line with requests from the Obama administration, WND has learned. As President Obama was preparing for a Washington summit with the Israeli and Palestinian leaders, Palestinian terrorists today carried out a shooting attack, killing two Jewish men and two women, one of whom was pregnant. The attack took place in the West Bank just south of the entrance to Kiryat Arba, near the historic biblical city of Hebron. Israeli security officials say the terrorist shooting was a coordinated ambush. Officially, Hamas took responsibility for the terror attack, in which gunmen opened fire at point-blank range on a car carrying the four Israeli civilians... The attack took place in the same general area where a gunman opened fire on an Israeli police vehicle just outside Hebron in June. A police officer was killed and two others were wounded in that shooting attack. Israeli security officials say the shooting was a planned ambush similar to today's attack. Both incidents took place on Route 60, a West Bank road used by Israeli and Palestinian drivers and patrolled by Israel. In the last year, the Israeli government removed 19 staffed checkpoints in the West Bank. At least 15 of the removed barriers are in the vicinity of Hebron. A spokeperson for the Israel Defense Forces confirmed to WND that in the last year and a half, all roadblocks have been removed from Route 60. The checkpoints were dismantled in line with demands from the Palestinian Authority that were passed on to Israel by the Obama administration. George Mitchell, the White House envoy to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, specifically requested that Israel remove roadblocks and checkpoints as a confidence-building gesture to restart talks with the PA, Israeli officials told WND. Anti-terror roadblocks and checkpoints impede Palestinian movement, but have been credited with stopping scores of attacks."
Abu-Ubaida, a spokesman for Hamas' Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, stated today's shooting was "a link in a chain-series of attacks - some have been executed, and others will follow."

4 Israelis Shot Dead By Hamas Terrorist Jihadists In West Bank As Negotiations Between PA And Israel Are Being Set To Begin
The Jerusalem Post reports that four "Israelis were killed Tuesday night in a shooting attack in the West Bank believed to have been aimed at torpedoing the Israeli-Palestinian peace talks, set to kick off on Wednesday in Washington. The four victims, described by a settler spokesman as a couple and two hitchhikers – were driving on Route 60 near the entrance to Kiryat Arba when their vehicle came under fire. The victims were named as Yitzhak Ames, 47, and his wife Tali Ames, 45, Kochava Ben- Haim, 37, and Avishai Schindler, 24, all from Beit Hagai. The Ames couple had six children, including a oneand- a-half-year-old toddler."
The innocent victims were shot while driving, and they include 2 men and 2 women, one reportedly pregnant. The jihad attack comes before Netanyahu and Abbas are set to meet in Washington for peace talks, which are doomed for failure from the outset. This should send a message to Washington about why Israel cannot make any concessions in exchange for nothing in regards to the West Bank. Israel withdrew from southern Lebanon in 2000 and Lebanon today stands in the grasp of the terrorist Islamists of Hezbollah. Israel withdrew every settler and soldier from Gaza, and Gaza today is in the hands of the terrorist Islamists of Hamas. To make concessions on the West Bank would do nothing but further endanger Israeli security. The political realities on the ground are not ripe for peace talks, and are not at all similar to the state of affairs in 2000 when Yasser Arafat met with Ehud Barak at Camp David. After the Palestinians rejected a generous peace offer they instead launched the bloody jihadist Intifada. Israel today is less secure than it was in 200 with the Iranian armed and supplied Hezbollah and Hamas on the northern and southern borders with which there have already been military confrontations. There is no longer the unified leadership under Yasser Arafat, but a weaker Abbas in control of the West Bank and Gaza exclusively in the hands of Hamas. Further, the looming threat of a nuclear Iran exists today as it did not ten years ago, and this is no doubt Israel's top priority.
I project no meaningful agreement can be attained at this time, and the only possible result will be extracting further dangerous concessions from Israel. The Obama administration wasting political capitol and pressure when the likelihood of failure is so great is a disastrous policy choice. The consequences of such a failure to achieve an agreement can be the undermining of Abbas’s political position among his fellow Palestinians and the strengthening of Hamas, as well as increasing global hostility to Israel. It seems to me that a sane American policy would be to avoid such direct peace talks rather than make calls and require direct negotiations.

Attempting Bronx Synagogue Jihadist Rants Against Jews To The Jury
The AP reports that "a down-and-out Muslim man, under pressure from a paid FBI informant, admitted he was eager to attack a New York synagogue to vent his rage against Jews and U.S. military might in the Middle East, according to tapes played Tuesday at his trial."
"I don't care if it was a whole synagogue of men," James Cromitie boasted during a visit last year to the informant's bugged home. "I would take them down."
As the day set for the attack approached, prosecutors say, Cromitie responded with even greater enthusiasm.
"I'm ready to do this damn thing," he said. "Anything for the cause."
The AP reports that "Cromitie, 43, and three men other co-defendants - Onta Williams, 34, David Williams, 29, and Laguerre Payen, 28 - have pleaded not guilty to charges of conspiracy to use weapons of mass destruction and conspiracy to acquire and use anti-aircraft missiles to kill U.S. officers and employees."
