What I cannot stand for is the complete uncorrected misrepresentations of United States history on the part of Jon Stewart as it relates to the Constitution. Stewart claims that State Constitutions were gotten rid of as a result of the the adoption of the U.S. Constitution. That is patently false. The Articles of Confederation were indeed abandoned, but those Articles were themselves an agreement between all the States as to the powers of Congress. Many of the State Constitutions which Huckabee correctly states were very religious were not done away with by the U.S. Constitution at all. It is pure historical ignorance to make the claims Stewart makes, and it is a shame Huckabee lets such nonsense slide by. That's but one example of the drivel coming out of Stewart's mouth, but it serves the purpose of demonstrating that Stewart often comes off as if he actually knows what he is talking about but that is only because his ignorance is uncorrected.
