Secretary Of State Hillary Clinton Meets With Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood President
When campaigning, Egypt's Islamist President made his radical views and intentions all too clear. Yet the Secretary of State of the United States deemed him worthy of a visit rather than isolation. The Associated Press reports:
U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton used her first meeting with Egypt's new Islamist president to press Mohammed Morsi to start a dialogue with military leaders as a way of preserving the country's transition to democracy. Clinton voiced support for the "full transition" to civilian rule at a time when Morsi's backers are in a political standoff with the generals who have ruled since President Hosni Mubarak was ousted last year. Resolving the impasse "requires dialogue and compromise, real politics," Clinton said. She said the United States is doing all it can to "support the democratically elected government and to help make it a success in delivering results for the people of Egypt." The meeting at the presidential palace kicked off a series of high-level sessions aimed at stabilizing Egypt's fledgling democracy and its alliance with the United States, once rock-solid but now increasingly shaky.Tweet

FBI On Trayvon Martin Shooting: No Evidence Of Racial Bias In George Zimmerman Case
The FBI found no racial bias behind George Zimmerman’s shooting of Miami Gardens teen Trayvon Martin, according to dozens of documents related to the case released Thursday. The second round of discovery documents released by prosecutors include reports from the FBI, Florida Department of Law Enforcement and State Attorney’s Office as well as photos of the crime scene, aerial photos, police calls and surveillance video related to the shooting. Zimmerman, 28, is charged with second-degree murder for the killing of Martin, 17, in a Sanford gated community in February. He claims he shot Martin in self-defense. The documents from the State Attorney’s Office include memorandums of interviews between investigators and witnesses, family members and officers who responded to the scene and worked on the case.Tweet

Dead On Arrival: Harry Reid Refuses To Hold Floor Vote On Obama Tax Proposal
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) on Wednesday rejected a Republican request to vote on President Obama’s income tax plan amid defections within his caucus on tax policy.
Reid appeared exasperated by the Republican request to vote on extending the Bush-era tax rates when Democrats would prefer to focus this week on a small-business tax package estimated to create 1 million jobs. …
Reid was responding to a request by Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) to vote on Obama’s tax plan, which would extend the Bush tax rates for families earning less than $250,000, alongside a Republican proposal to extend the 2001 and 2003 tax rates for one year.
“The Senate should make itself clear which policy it supports. This is our chance to do it,” said McConnell.Tweet

Hamas Islamonazism: Palestinian Parliament Member Al-Astal Says The Germans Punished The Jews, Now It's The Turn Of The Islamic Nation
There is no more appropriate label for this genocidal maniac who serves as one of the Palestinian's elected representatives from Gaza than Islamonazi:
"Allah punished the Israelites many times throughout history... He punished them by means of the Germans... Today, it is the turn of the Islamic nation to punish them once again." - Hamas Member of Palestinian Parliament Al-Astal, June 20, 2012
Pray tell, where is the outrage (or even just media coverage)?
Lest anyone dare think this is an excusable isolated sentiment, the same genocidal MP expressly stated in May of last year that the Jews were gathered into Israel for the Palestinians with "the Islamic nation behind them" to annihilate the evil Jews in a great massacre, after which t"the land of Palestine will become the Capital of the Islamic Caliphate":
