"The president is going to act," said Vice President Biden, giving some comments to
the press. "There are
executives orders, there's executive action that can be taken. We
haven't decided what that is yet."
Does this simply mean more vigorous enforcement of existing firearms laws or something more? I would remind the Obama administration that while it considers limits on the Second Amendment, it should pay attention to the first clause of the Constitution too: "All legislative powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and House of Representatives." If he intends to use an executive order to bypass Congress, he will be in blatant violation of the United States Constitution.
